Just a thought let me know what you think???
I thought by adding this site that we would start off with one poem. Each person should copy the last line into their new topic and then write one line of their own adding to the poem. After we decide that a poem is done then we copy and paste the finish poem in the poetry section for all guest and members to view and comment on. Also When a person thinks that a poem is finished they should put done after the last line that way we know when to start another!!! Let me know what you think about this??? I just think what is going on now is starting out to be be alot of jumping around and I don't think the first poems started will get finished.

I hope I haven't done anything wrong...

Shawn asked me if I would moderate this forum, so I just came here and started mucking about, in my diffuse, discursive way...

I remember my homegirl ROze posted and posed the question, "What is it," to which I replied, "Come visit," and then it was just off to the races after that.  

I do hope you're not too cross with me.  You make good points in your post, above.  I didn't mean to do anything wrong, I just came here and got interested in it.  Actually, I think it's going pretty well now, in my opinion.

I was just giving my input. When I gave this idea to Shawn for this board I just thought it would have some structure to it, your doing a great job but as you and I are the moderators I thought I would get your input and give mine to you on idea's that would make more people jump onto the site. I know most of the people come to the poetry board it is very popular and i just thought if we would post a finished poem there it would draw them to the new board and we would have more people participate in this newboard. I'm not in anyway saying that this board is the way it is suppose to be. I am just a very creative person and I have........well in my opion I think I have some great idea's but I wanted to run them by you and see what you thought. I am by no means a tunnel visioned person I loved how you jumped right into this board and got it up and running!!!!!!!!!! I think with your mind and mine we could be a great assest to this blossoming board!!!

l like your idea of posting the finished poems on the poetry board mary, ;D

I agree with Ahktar, and suggest that each poem added to the Poetry board be dated or numbered so that we can see the improvements in the contents with time.
This is a developing situation with good potential.
