Helloooo! Question for the experienced. I have recently received my order of 4 bottles of Piracetam, Alpha GPC, and Idebenone. I am 20 years old and a college student. I follow a pretty healthy diet, take all natural multivitamins and pharmaceutical grade fish oil twice a day. I was wondering how I should go about constructing my dosage for each substance.

The second part to my inquiry is that my father (age: 53) and my mother (age: 47) have become interested in the potentials of nootropics but I am uncertain if their dosage should follow mine. My father is pretty healthy to my knowledge and my mother is the same except she is a slight alcoholic. She drinks regularly (every night), not so much for the enjoyment of the drink but to get drunk. I was led to believe nootropics could assist to reverse some of the degradation inflicted by alcohol (particularly Piracetam).

So, if anyone could help me come up with a strong dosage plan for myself and a modification of such (if needed for both of my parents) I would appreciate it!

Thank you!

I believe the dosage for alcoholics is much greater.......quote from bulknutrition....so for alcoholism it looks like several grams per day.

The dosage curve for memory improvement from piracetam is bell-shaped [3]. Two human studies have been conducted on the EEG effect of acute dosing of 2.4, 4.8, or 9.6 grams, and the maximal effect was found at 2.4 g in one and 4.8 g in the other [11]. This would indicate that the ideal dose for memory improvement in healthy individuals is 2.4-4.8 g daily (spread out over 3-4 doses), and this is in line with the clinical data. For the treatment of some conditions, such as myoclonus and alcohol withdrawal, much larger doses are used – up to 24-32 g daily in some cases [4, 17, 51]. There is even a report of 60 g daily being used to treat cerebellar ataxia [33].
