QUOTE
So then, if the bible is the word of God and if God is all knowing, then why does the bible change?
If the Bible is the word of God....What is the word and what is a constant?

Do you take religion in a literal sense or in a philosophical sense using some beliefs derived from the bible but not all?
I would look beyond the definition, to the value of religion and why it has any relative value to me.
When I search out the history of the Bible and its roots in Eastern Philosophy I find that what is behind it has a solid foundation in experience. The True teachings that liberate humans from fear and illusion are what the Bible is about. What the bible refers to is the Teachings of Jesus the Christ, Christ being an expanded state of consciousness.
Jesus being a man lived by example a greater potential than dogmatic principal or any belief in illusions created by the any majority, expounded his own experience which others tried to fathom from their own level of understanding.
What You Tube has shown is certain truths which when embellished are used to create a system of belief and what Jesus taught was not a belief but the underlying nature of all things which when interpreted through filters of judgment and fear create belief and dogma.
It is a fact that what the Bible is, is a collection of stories grouped together according to the understandings of majority at the time of its creation. It is also realistic to imagine and postulate that the stories that are in the bible and those that aren't, could lead to events that inspired them to be written and shared with the world.
Aramaic and Hebrew translated into Greek then German then English, have also contributed to molding the essence of what Jesus taught into a form that is acceptable to popular belief and constructs of the current mindset or conscious understanding.
There just aint nothin like hearing it from the source, and if that isn't possible often it takes some honest interest and energy in research and cross referencing to separate the wheat from the chaff. Not very many actually do that, but are more interested in defending their personal beliefs and sabotaging those that don't support their beliefs.
Then again there are alot of cows that simply follow the herd.
What is in the bible was meant to inspire one to find the truth behind the words that Jesus spoke.
He spoke of the reality of his relationship with God and the availability of God to everyone who would seek for themselves when they are ready to look beyond the herd mentality and the suffering created in separation and judgment of humanity in its choices and beliefs.
Suffering is healed from the inside out, rather than by manipulating the outside while maintaining the illusions that create suffering in changing beliefs.
Those that push the Bible as being
verbatim "the word of God" as they understand it, are trying to heal the world or to unite it under common belief rather than to find what is common to all beliefs and experiences created through freedom of choice and interpretation; basically because it would be devastating to the ego to accept the idea that one could have misinterpreted the meaning of life, and to live from false ideas about reality.
