My father of age 62 has had two strokes and a number of cardiovascular related issues.

He recently lost medicare/medicade for some reason, go America -.-; Oddly enough pharmatech and their free drug programs should at least help him maintain some level of health.

After studying nootropics a bit and reading up on donezipil for treatment of stroke related cognitive and memory damage, I wanted to ask for suggestions for his situation.

He is lucid, can talk rather well, just seems to have issues with recall, as if everything is there, just mixed up by a small degree. Example, he will think of a day in the week, and pick another day when he says it, not a different category of symbols, but a different symbol in the same category, this happens randomly within conversation, he is aware of it and it angers him. I can slightly relate in that when I was younger I had a pretty bad speech issue that I've developed past pretty well. Its never fun to think one thing and not be able to share it with others effectively. In addition to this, his memory is fading due to age.

Anyhow, any advice would be welcome.
