Unfortunately I am at work so I cannot cite my resources, but I wrote a paper on this last year so I have some feelings about this topic. Through my research I found that even IF we could stop carbon emissions, the planet is STILL going through this cycle. The natural amount of carbon produced each year by the forests and the oceans is considerably higher than any human factor. Global warming is a part of the planets process of survival of the fittest and natural selection. It matters to man kind now because its happening either way and although we can slow it down, we cannot prevent this from happening.
