I just wanted a rant and to see what others thought of these crazy news stories. First up is 'ho ho ho' and how it is now considered offensive to women/ho's. This is just ridiculous, since Santa Clause has been using this phrase long before black America and its rappers.

Now its wrong to say Christmas, or Christmas tree because it contains the word Christ. No shit! Thats like saying all mosques have to go because they contain muslims! I also am deeply annoyed because my name is Christopher, which comes from St. Christopher - Christ Offerer - who carried Christ across a river.

I really feel that inaction on these matters are allowing our supposed 'freedom' to be taken away. Examples are CCTV, institutionalisation, speeding fines, increased charges in forced processes (banks etc.). I'm sick of the UK bending over backwards to accommodate other nations and their beliefs, while we are forced lose our own native culture. It seems its happening elsewhere too. Go to any non-european/non-westernised country and you get treated however that country wants to treat you, and you better like it because its just tough! The Islamic cartoons of Mohammed and now the stupidity over a teddy bears name is just too much for me.

I really think someone should take the bull by the horns and tell these idiots "NO!".

I read about a man who worked in a nuclear power plant for over ten years, in the high radiation parts which require a hazard-suit. He decides its a good idea to break into the plant and steal some plutonium or other nuclear material. Now this guys been trained in correct handling, knows all the procedures, but sticks this nuclear gear into his unprotected trouser pocket! He has to have his leg amputated within a week due to lesions and cancerous growths. Now instead of him being done for breaking and entering and theft of nuclear material (which has to be a crime of the highest order!), he sues the plant for not having addequate signage! He wins!

The world is filld with total madness. I want a call for common sense to return, burn the tangled mess that is our layers of law system that requires decades of study just to suck at understanding the point of it.

Don't let these a$$holes take our civil rights, we will slowly slip into a world of insanity, piece by piece, if we let them.

Political correctness is a form of totalitarian thought control.

I think the problem is Western Guilt. Past events and the media have taught us how evil we are for being Western - so now, politicians and the media are so politically correct, that we are being punished for mistakes made in the past. Unfortunately, people have heared this rubbish for so long, that people are actually adhering to super-"liberal" political correctness that is constantly pushed on us. Most "non-British" people I know, really don't care about a lot of what is censored. Stop pandering to extremists and idiots (where there is any difference, that is).
