Hi!

Does nutmeg have nootropic effects?
Sage may have thujone, found in Absinthe. And Rosemary helps neurotransmietter synthesis. Share your experiences.
I have found Sage to create "openings" in the mind, as if I had meditated for 5 hours.

Nutmeg is extremely toxic. I have taken a lot of in large quantities (15-20g) in my youth to be able to safely say - STAY AWAY FROM IT! Its psychotropic effects are because of MDA, the parent of MDMA, but the effect is more like a super sedative so strong it creates semi conciousness and a dreamlike hallucinatory state. Its not pleasant (put me off nutmeg forever, can't believe people cook with this stufF), the effects take around 18 hours to arrive, and last for approximately 48-72 hours. Again, stay away from it, its definately not a 'nootropic' from any definition I've heard before.

I forget to mention that Nutmeg tastes like sawdust made from spice, its awful beyond comprehension.
