I placed an order for a basic combo pack of:
ADRAFINIL - 20 x 300mg abs
HYDERGINE - 20 x 4.5 mg tbs
PIRACETAM - 120 x 800 mg cps

I read up on Erowid for -any- thing I put in my body, and all of the above seemed to have a general consensus of being positive for alertness and depression.

This is my test of nootropics, and I am very happy to have found a forum to ask advice on... with all of that said, can I do harm if I stay within reasonable dosing limits, and do the experts out there have any suggestions?

I got a hold of Choline (500mg) and Phosphatyidyl Serine (500 mg)
Trying both once a day, I know the Choline is all-around good.

Does anyone have knowledge to share on the Phosphatyidyl Serine?

Hope to get the rest (above) shortly.

I'm not a resident expert on nootropics like LifeMirage, but I do have a know some people are immune to the psychedelic snuff cebil/yopo. Its around 1/10th of the population, and my friend is one of them. I've not heard of immunity to psylocibin or LSD, but hallucinogens are a funny thing, they can appear to be inert and then suddenly surround you with a maze of thoughts and imagery. Maybe your depression and state of mind acted as a block? Interesting.

I would stay off the pot, or at the very least don't smoke it constantly/every day. If anything that will make you more lethargic and depressed at how lethargic you are. Similarly, don't go tripping once a week, it should only be done very rarely. Once a year in spring is often enough!

Choline is a mild anti-depressant that can help but I would agree with the above poster that smoking pot could be contributing to your depression since you are not likely to get much done.

I hate to sound like a bore, but you may be better off with more natural approaches that are lifestyle oriented, (ie. exercise more, socialize with positive people, help others).

I completely agree. For 4 years I was in a very deep depression, I went to therapy, counseling, etc. They told me I had bipolar and put me on meds. I tried what they gave me and had to keep going back because they only thing the medicine was doing was numbing me. I could not feel anything, and I was always tired. I finally quit taking meds because nothing they gave me worked, and they were making me do tests to make sure the meds were not damaging my liver. Depression medicine is horrible for your body! I smoked alot of greens along the way too, and I found that if you ALREADY have a "chemical imbalance" that pot is just going to make the imbalance ALOT worse. Pot is a temporary fix but as soon as it fades away you crash, and you need more.

You have a long road ahead of you, but its true that positive people and social activities will help you overcome this. Gain control of your mind and you will gain control of your life!

The Five Tibetan Rites: Exercises for Healing, Rejuvenation, and Longevity

By Mary Kurus

Background

In 1985 a book called The Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth written by Peter Kelder was published which for the first time fully described an exercise program for "youthing". This is an exercise program used by Tibetan monks to live long, vibrant and healthy lives. In fact, this book states that many have lived longer than most can imagine by following the program often called the "Five Tibetan Rites". The benefits are described in this book and a subsequent book 2 with an expanded description of the program by the publisher called the Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth - Book 2, a companion to the original book by Peter Kelder. Many thanks to the publisher Doubleday for such a special an expanded explanation of the Five Rites.
Potential Benefits of the Five Rites

The authors provide many examples of the benefits of the "Five Tibetan Rites" including the following: looking much younger; sleeping soundly; waking up feeling refreshed and energetic; release from serious medical problems including difficulties with spines; relief from problems with joints; release from pain; better memory; arthritis relief; weight loss; improved vision; youthing instead of aging; greatly improved physical strength, endurance and vigor; improved emotional and mental health; enhanced sense of well being and harmony; and very high overall energy.
