I have been practicing recently, stretching the muscles in my forearm by applying gentle pressure to my fingers. I can now move one finger down independently with less motion from my other fingers, and by focusing, I can lift the other finger nearly back to the starting position. I am really begining to think it is just a matter of hand yoga. Were you to try and hug your legs, I am sure you would not be able to without practice, this is not to say it can't be done. You may be able to touch your toes, but in time, the act can be performed.
starting position? you mean the position when you stretch straight?
I think I can do that too~ XD
my finger is softer than normal people, I can fold backward all my fingers without force
like this \_ and I can also do /\_,
I can stretch all my finger above normal as well

finger palm
but that is, if I move slowly, if I move fast, the nearby fingers will move up and down too...

piano and hold gun...
chosing which is greater force...
when playing piano (or violin, computer keyboard) I guess there's no much force generated on each finger than holding?
you open you hand and your muscles is kinda relaxed?
but when holding a gun, or
Wii remote (Controller from a New Console, simmilar to holding a gun I guess) or maybe hair drier?
I do fell... hnnnn maybe because I roll up my fingers? muscles are tensed? (I can see the muscle around my wrist moved when I roll up my fingers.) when I madly hitting B (trigger at the back), feel weird to hit A...
sometimes my thumb will tremble... and hitting like the index finger?
It is a lot easier if I stop my index finger during thumb release -> press action.
or maybe I'm abnormal...? (maybe my friends too...) ="=
