Hi, are you referring to psychological disorders such as obsessive compulsive disorder, the automatic response system, the neurological aspects of repetitive behaviors or behavioral therapy?
Repetitive actions covers a wide range of topics.

It is a bit of a defect of mine, hence the interest.I've got other interests as well, this is not what I am chiefly concerned with.
And I was refering to the nuerological aspects of obsessive/repititive behavior,I'm not OCD or the like.
Moreso understanding why one feels compelled to repeat a negative behaviol pattern even while being cogniscent of the implications.
Anyway,I hope to learn a good bit on this board, and hopefully can share my ideas with others.
So I thank you both for the welcome wagon;)

Um okay, theres this book on how to use visualization to rewire your neural patterns. I can't remember it off the top of my head but look for it in your local bookstore.
Essentially you can use it to stop negative behaviours by using visualization, its from a neuroscientist.
Sorry, I cant remember what the name of the book was, I just saw it in passing. Should be in the psychology section though.
