Full Version: Is Symbiotic Harmony the best goal for mankind ?

I'm thinking "Whats that got to do with expanding consciousness?" I mean OK I am thinking about something I have never thought about before which means I am going to realise something as being either true or untrue so my consciousness has expanded to include that truth...Oh Ok all I have to do is think about an original thought...OK try me again now that I have got a sense of what you are on about smarty pants..make my consciousness expand!

Hmm, he thinks to himself, if a photon particle of light can divide itself to journey through two places simultaneously in the same moment in time is there a place and time where the conditions are harmonious to those particles rejoining?

I am going to go way off the topic here momentarily. Lets say that it is correct that there was a big bang that started the universe, would not evolution at the outer edge of the universe be ahead by virtue of the fact of it reaching a point of stability earlier.

Now I will come back to consciousness. What happens if someone conceptualises an absolute ideal ? Perfect enough for everyone to agree with to pursue because with each degree of pursuance they become more symbiotically connected to what becomes a universal consciousness which can then recognise the magnitude of personal criticality of influence. (the sense of "Oh yeah you saved us on that one because if you didnt think to do that one we were stuffed) Thoughts and actions are understood once that fresh beginning point of relativity is created. Are they positive to the ultimate ideal goal or negative to it?

Of course in the first instance they would be positive or negative to the concept of there being any sort of agreed goal structure for mankind. Some would say it cant be done because we would never agree..but the truth was that if it was perfect enough they would agree. Its just that they werent used to pursuing that degree of perfection.

Every species seemed to exist quite well in symbiotic harmony in the past so we knew the concept was valid enough. Some suggested that it was probably the best retreat position for a species in a survival situation and others suggested that it was the best outcome to pursue regradless. Even the church by its crucifixion standard of honesty had to admit that the ultimate end of the pursuit was not incompatible with the concept of heaven and that it might be a good way to see if we really did want to pursue heaven as our ultimate. They couldnt reasonably set the whole world up like that so they chose a spot to be representitive of the heaven that their religion wished its followers to exist within...and they were each judged on that.

That was the only way they could break free of their shackles.

It seems to me there are several ways of looking at it. First, if survival is a goal, then symbiotic harmony could be a means to that goal. If symbiotic harmony is the goal, then survival would be a byproduct. The question implies that there are lesser goals aside from the"best" one. What might these be? If we want to select the best, then we need to know the others to compare it to.

I actually don't believe that symbiotic harmony has ever been a real dynamic of this Earth. It makes me laugh when we run round trying to save animals on the brink of extinction when the reason they are going extinct is because of their unsuitability to the environment. Of course when thats our fault then fair enough, but when its because the animal lacks adaptability, we will be forever fighting a lost cause; panda-ring if ya like smile.gif

If an animal is completely wiped out by another animal, isn't that a case of survival of the fittest? Does nature actually attempt to balance the environment in some way, or is symbiotic harmony another human concept that is in no way based on reality.

I just see it as another focus for our energy, like celebrities and fads. Thats not to say I want us to abandon our conservation efforts, but we shouldn't assume theres a way to preserve perfect harmony between species.

To answer the question directly, I don't think it's the best goal for mankind.
I think symbiotic harmony has rarely happened, if ever.

I think the pursuit of symbiotic harmony would be a good goal for mankind. It keeps us striving for the best, looking for ways to improve. But not symbiotic harmony itself.

Once it's actually reached, people would forget about what it really means & disregard it.
Then we would go backward, instead of having forward progress.... and we'd have to start over again.

Hope that make sense.
