Guys, I am concerned about the following Nootropics cause shedding of hair:

Piracetam : 6 grams per day

L-Huperzine A : 200 mcg a day

Pyritinol : 800 mg per day.

Has anyone experienced this first hand or do you think hairloss acceleration is possible on these supplements?

Any input will be appreciated.

LifeMirage,

Is your answer based on personal opinion or based on studies that have concluded that.

Thanks,

Yes on both parts and my decades of usage in patients.

Mild skin reactions to Pyritinol have been reported though this seems unlikely to cause hair loss. Piracetam and Huperzine are both very safe.

Brainfreak, you may just be going bald due to genetics. Your intake of nootropics may well be correlated with hair loss but not be playing any causative role.

i'm taking DHT blockers for the MPB, but since i started taking piracetam and huperzine with pyritinol, i've experienced some shedding. It might as well be a another shed and not have anything to do with taking those supplements.

either way, thanks for the replies.
