Full Version: a love song

Hey Hey
a love song

this is a love song for the night
of tragic days and dream’s delight
upon whose tightening knot and drape
shall one day venture no escape
‘til moonshine waxing, pallor grim
touching angels with no whim
amid the stars should they beget
concern that features might forget
so here in morbid fear await
the beating heart to soul create
and then could ask for hand in truth
remain with dark eternal youth
embrace the void, oh tender black
a sense of peace, no turning back

Yes, I adore this one. I saw it on AuthorsDen and meant to reply to it there, but, since I am here, I will just tell you that it speaks to my heart, here and everywhere.

Thank you so much, my dear friend, just for being, for being there, for being here and everywhere.

Love,

+Stevie
