the opposite of daydreaming

the black and white
of no delight
when what to mean
is in-between
not darkly sleep
nor sharp to keep
as maybe real
but glimpse, not feel
a fading thought
in trance be caught
where truth is known
though never shown
return as soon
without the moon
to catch the next
all look so vexed
and never know
when time did slow
converse in stream
was this daydream
