Learn To Forgive

What we need is understanding,
What we need to know is love,
What we need to give each other,
Equals the trust we have in above.

What the world needs is restbite,
From all former historical woes,
Realising the need for co-operation,
Realising we were never foes.

We are all the same colour,
What our hearts tell us is true,
We have no longer a reason to disbelieve,
Just believe in me and you.

Even though we are worlds apart,
We share the same world, can't you see,
There is place for us all,
A place where all can be.

One way of thinking is just one way,
Some times correct, some times wrong,
With this start point,
We can all get along.

We open up opportunities,
We are all a part of humankind,
We open our eyes to the beauty of life,
We open up our mind.

The way forward is together,
Not one, but all,
Halting the decline,
Of humanity's fall.
Making this world a better place,
For all to live,
All we have to do,
Is learn to forgive.
