For many months
Temperature sizzled and cooled
Ambivalence over-crowded the weather
Summer bloomed like the flowers, the wild-life and everything that made it beautiful
A strange sense of warmth in the air
The skies blue like the hypnotic turquoise
In the seas, shown there
The sun, an ally but also an enemy
No real negativity detected
Just a sense of relaxation and pleasantness
Then the reaper of bitter winter came and killed all the joy and peace
That she had provided for me
Ever so sweetly
Coldness and dullness came
Everything changed
The main colour of a clear rich blue,
and the golden rays
Was barged out of the way by the grey, it spoiled the view
Warm heat, and breeze was replaced by rain and wind
Everyone adjusted so quick, like a spin
I hated it
The sunspots that entranced me
And the comforting warmth and cool calmness
Died away
One of life's cruelties
Gives a little taste of rich colours and a temperature
With a friendly presence of it's own
And then makes you watch it decay
The green grass was no longer soft
Everytime I walked on it
It felt like green sharp emeralds underneath my feet
Nature hadn't given me enough time to adjust to the deadly cold
Presence called "winter"
Everything pale and dead-looking
No real life
And although the heat melted all the unhappy dull things away
Winter made them come back
And freeze on me
I will sit waiting....waiting
For the queen of summer to return
And the king of winter to burn
