I wouldn't call it far from the truth. You've used *nix systems? As far as I can tell, it's a compilation of valid gripes.

Things have also moved on since the old unix days. I use a *nix system and have done so for the last 9 years. In the beginning I admit there were serious issues but now that there are systems like Ubuntu available, it has bridged the gap for end users to have a user friendly system. www.ubuntu.com

It is also shipped to you for free wherever you are.
https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ I am not going to get into the age old OS debate, but one cant knock *nix unless one
has run it for at least a couple of months. Note: *nix is not for users who want to play games, not yet anyway :-)
