Has anyone else tried using a Hydrogen Peroxide inhaler as described on EarthClinic (you'll have to google it, I can't post links as a new user();?

I have been using a 1.5% solution for a few weeks now and I have noticed a substantial increase in energy and clarity of thought. The effect is similar to a mild amphetamine (I was on Adderal for couple years in school) even to the point where after the first day of use I ended up not being able to sleep (even more than usual) as I got caught up with organizing my house. The effect is not quite so drastic anymore, but I still feel refreshed after each use.

On a side note it seems to have drastically helped me on my most recent attempt to quit smoking. Part of it I am sure is the hand to lung interaction. But it also elevates my mood similar to smoking without the body drain.

I'd love to hear from others who have tried this.

I don't think I've heard of this before
Hey Hey
The webpage should have health warning not just a discliamer!

Spill this stuff on you new Levis and you'll soon see how effective it is - as a bleach! I think I'll start selling shit sandwiches - they're sure to cure somebody's cancer! It's amazing how gullible some people are. Let's get back to some science and evidence-based treatments/methods - please! (By the way, you can buy pure oxygen to inhale. Safer, but: http://www.fda.gov/Fdac/features/2002/602_air.html).

I've looked into this a bit more online and it seems, if it's not a hoax, then it's only potentially useful for elderly people and not intended for normal to middle-aged people. Unless you're suffering from some incurable illness and are desperate, I wouldn't waste my time on this hydrogen peroxide inhaler. The lack of reliable third-party information online should be a warning sign that this is a hoax.

This is another wierd one, again, call the poision and control center. Inhaling pure oxygen will kill you.

Seriously, if your going to do these kind of things, at least find out what the effects are. Everything on the planet has a poisionous level of dosage, some is in the ppm, others like coffee, is about 90 cups.

Find out official information on what the effects are of taking or inhaling whatever substance your are considering using as an alternative medicine. Then you can cross refrence this with your alternative medicine source and make an informed decision.
