could the universe began with complete zero no mass/energy?
My general idea is the location for creation mass/energy, is the edge of the universe,on the jacket of the universe, more I claim that if Hubble (the astronomer)didn't take the view that the universe began without mass/energy ,the reason it is because he didn't take option that mass/energy could be created. If he was taking that option he would have arrived at a first point without any energy or mass just emptiness
i was writting 3 pages-i call them icarus5-unlimited energy been creation at the egde of the universe.
who do you see that point?-you can visit my site if you like to know what i was writting.

Avshalom, you have to be a lot more rigorous, articulate, lucid, and convincing when you attack mainstream thought regarding the conservation of mass/energy. Otherwise, people will blow you off as a flake or a dilettante.

Since you are proposing an alternative theory, you need to make very clear what is wrong with mainstream thought, what phenomena it cannot account for, and show very clearly how your theory is better. It also has to be convincing, from a conceptual perspective, and possess a certain aesthetics (i.e., Occam's Razor).

And regarding the 'edge of the universe', there is no such thing. Learn general relativity.

Indeed, some of the people who haunt this forum are accomplished scientists, if your going to pose questions like this, you need to be very descriptive.

Good advice Lucid.

Welcome to brainmeta cohen!

The posts above may well be right.

I have my own ideas about the Universe etc., but not the knowledge to support, prove (or otherwise) their probablity of explaining events.
None-the-less, don't be downhearted; continue researching and learning and possibly developing your ideas.

Someone else (with greater knowledge) might just be triggered to consider a new fruitful possibility even if you or I record even an unsuitable idea.

Rhymer, your ideas have always been exceptional.

i am only focus on theory -i dont say what is wrong at other theory, that advice i was adopting from a good friend (to concentrate in my idea-what i am presenting)
thank you for the replies.

if you learn quantum field theory and general relativity, you will be in a much better position to propose new theories. Otherwise, very few people will take you seriously.
