"DONT HATE JUST APPRECIATE"

♥ Love Resurrection...

I want to be just you and me
The music to play
To hide in a lonely place
To taste a bottle of red wine

To kiss you full of passion
Like there is no tomorrow
You are the sea, i am the wind
Touch you softly, touch you wildly

Your body dynamite alight
Your breath stops the time
Your kiss, frozen me, burning me
Your glance like magnet

We roll like the river, from bed
to walls, from tables to rugs
Like a piano melody our fingers
Touching wet body

Let it never end
Passion, eternity
To this room the death will come
And if tomorrow comes
Don't be afraid
It's a love resurrection

Life in beehives was vivacious,
Life in wine was sensuous,
Life in computers was brazen,
Life in nests was sequestering,
Life in statues was stationary,

-= The Color of FRIENDSHIP...

Once upon a time
the colors of the world started to quarrel.
All claimed that they were the best;
the most important,
the most useful,
the favorite

GREEN said:
"Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was
chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all animals would die. Look over the countryside and you will see that I am in the majority."

BLUE interrupted:
"You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the
water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea. The sky gives space and peace and serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing."

YELLOW chuckled:
"You are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety, and warmth into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow, the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a sunflower, the whole world starts to smile. Without me there would be no fun."

ORANGE started next to blow her trumpet:
"I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but I am precious for I serve the needs of human life. I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, mangoes, and papayas. I don't hang around all the time, but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, my beauty is so striking that no one gives another thought to any of you."

RED could stand it no longer, he shouted out:
"I am the ruler of all of you. I am blood - life's blood! I bring fire into
the blood. I am willing to fight for a cause. I am the color of danger and of
bravery. Without me, the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the color of passion and of love, the red rose, the poinsettia and the poppy."

PURPLE rose up to his full height:
He was very tall and spoke with great pomp: "I am the color of royalty and power. Kings, cheifs, and bishops have always chosen me, for I am the sign of authority and wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey."

Finally INDIGO spoke, much more quietly than all the others, but with just as much determination: "Think of me. I am the color of silence. You hardly notice me, but without me you all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection, twilight and deep water. You need me for balance and contrast, for prayer and inner peace."

So the colors went on boasting,
each convinced of his or her own superiority.
Their quarreling became louder and louder.
Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening.
Thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly.
The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort.
In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak: "You foolish colors,
fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest.
Don't you know that you were each made for a special purpose,
unique and different?
Join hands with one another and come to me."

Doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands.

The rain continued:
"From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across
the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder
that you can all live in peace.
The Rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow."

And so, whenever a good rain washes the world,
and a Rainbow appears in the sky,
let us remember to appreciate one another.

♥ Simple Friends vs. Real Friends ...

A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.

A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight.

A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.

A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it.

A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!

♥ The Gift...

God gave me a wonderful gift
It came while I was not expecting it
It brought me so much joy
It had to be forever

The gift had laughter and smiles
It warmed my very being
My spirit was lifted
It had to be forever

The gift had compassion and caring
It allowed me to share and to grow
My soul soared like an eagle
It had to be forever

The gift had such passion and desire
More powerful than anything I've ever known
My body was tingling
It had to be forever

The gift had love and warmth
It took my breath away
My heart swelled with emotion
It had to be forever

The gift had sorrow and longing
I ached to see you again
My heart moaned
It had to be forever

The gift had friendship and understanding
It was pure and good
My whole being rejoiced
It had to be forever

This morning when I awoke
I thought about this gift
My mind raced
It will be forever

♥ A magic moment I remember...

A magic moment I remember:
I raised my eyes and you were there.
A fleeting vision, the quintessence
Of all that's beautiful and rare.

I pray to mute despair and anguish
To vain pursuits the world esteems,
Long did I near your soothing accents,
Long did your features haunt my dreams.

Time passed- A rebel storm-blast scattered
The reveries that once were mine
And I forgot your soothing accents,
Your features gracefully divine.

In dark days of enforced retirement
I gazed upon grey skies above
With no ideals to inspire me,
No one to cry for, live for, love.

Then came a moment of renaissance,
I looked up- you again are there,
A fleeting vision, the quintessence
Of all that`s beautiful and rare.

♥ Words..

Words have started terrible strife that has torn the world apart;
Words have healed and comforted many a despondent heart.
Pleasing words are better spoken and received by old and young,
Rather than abrasive words of venom, spewed by acidic tongue!

Words of hope are always welcomed by friends who are down,
Easing their burdens and erasing that worrisome frown.
A daily hug and words of love to those of family dear,
Will return a hundredfold the words you'd love to hear!

When loss of friends is keenly felt and words are hard to find,
With dear ones perhaps 'tis best just to sit with hands entwined.
For a job well done, 'tis good to hear meaningful words of praise,
Encouraging words, not just trite and empty phrase!

'Twould be well for kids to hear the words the Master taught,
To gird them for their earthly trek with temptations fraught.
Mere poets will ne'er attain the homage afforded David's Psalms;
His words flow like honey, as soothing as an air of Brahms!

Plans will surely go awry should words be misconstrued;
Consternation and confusion will reign, 'tis easy to conclude.
'Tis well to remember that words spoken cannot be retrieved;
Maybe 'twould be best to curb the tongue, lest others be aggrieved!
