I know that Protein Kinases do phosphorilate other proteins that get activated by this. but I also know ATPases do this

1. There are differences between PKs and ATPases?

That's a pretty tough question.
Most protein kinases are ATPases and vice versa.
I'm not sure, but...
I believe most protein kinases would be ATPases, yet ATPases aren't necessarily protein kinases.
As far as I know, all ATPases don't
always breakdown ATP specifically to phosphorylate proteins, so you couldn't really consider them protein kinases in general.
