Night Ravens

When one awakens then the day begins
Today my day began along with night
I slept through afternoon and woke at five
It was already dark as the world spins

But in my case a day of night felt right
Though sick all day here I am still alive
I missed the worst an innocent asleep
No day but night no heaven but no hell

My day was dark and now my night is deep
Yet dark and deep describe my feelings well
Drinking strong tea while hoping for the best
Now I will see what can be done with it

Let others have the day we have the rest
To play and puzzle where our pieces fit
The moon the stars and other nightly things
Like the magic when the night raven sings

For me
And you
I see
We two
Agree

We couple of night ravens you and me
