When one system of reference has been immobilized, it temporarily becomes an absolute point of reference.

For the philosopher, if one system remains at absolute rest and all other systems are in absolute motion, the theory of relativity implies the existence of not only multiple times, but also no more than one real time amongst them, the others merely being mathematical fictions.
