therapy for Bipolar depression, im more depressive than manic but im taking Risperdal for
the Mania, and Celexa for the depression, Celexa has helped in ending the suicidal thoughts, but I

Unfortunately both of those drugs interfere with the cognitive effects you are looking to enhance to some degree.

I would probably suggest trying Pure EPA (about 2 grams daily) can effect mood, mania, and perhaps some areas of cognition. Also 400-1,000 mg of L-Theanine I believe can be of benefit to you.

I would try the above compounds for at least a month prior to using nootropics to insure no increase in your mania which is a possible occurrence with certain nootropics.

thanks for replying, but I have more questions, what company should I but the L-theanine and EPA from, and is it still possible to take a low dose of nootropics without triggering mania, because I've had more depression episodes than manic, but I'll take your advice. But if I can take a nootropic which would yu recommend?

For companies see: http://brainmeta.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13676

I would not recommend nootropics until trying the above. You need to try to correct your neurochemical imbalance (bipolar/drugs induced) before attempting to take nootropics.
