What better way to gain insight into the primitive mind than through cave art?

Hey Hey
Ancient art is always interesting and enlightening. I just get frustrated that I can't read about the artists' lives, (biography type I mean). It would be really fascinating to know about their inspirations and how they were viewed by other group members. Also, how the techniques were passed on etc. Maybe if we can ever time travel ....

Cattle worship, superstition, first concepts of art, mind altering plants, birth of music and trance seem to be the order of the day. I'm pretty sure that the first time an animal or person was drawn on the cave walls was the point religion was born.

If you ever manage to find a way to travel back in time HeyHey, please dont go to the beginning of culture! Those Nike sneakers may upset the locals. It'd be so cool if they found another cave full of art showing cave men with Nikes haha.

Some say we'll never be able to go back further than the day a time machine is used for the first time - so we can't go back earlier than today then?
