I am 26 y/o, 180 lbs, 5’11”, and beginning to face certain cognitive deficiencies. I attribute most of my problems not to age, but to a hefty set of experiences with dissociative anesthetics.
My problems are an inability to recall information (prompted and unprompted), and a feeling of dizziness after long periods of intense, concentrated thought. I am not used to having cognitive difficulties, so my complaints are relative to my prior level of ability. Aside from the feelings of dizziness (more accurately an extreme sense of being mentally worn out) and memory problems, I feel healthy and normal. Normal pulse & bp, but haven’t had blood work done anytime recently. No depression or psych probs. I do not exercise currently, but was once an athlete and servicemember.
My question is what recommendations can anyone make for me to negate the memory and mental fatigue problems. My initial inclinations are towards Piracetam and Resveratrol, along with Creatine. I would like to know other substances and dosages (please). Also, if there are load/maintenance periods and dosages with each. I don’t expect the magic bullet, just some guidance – particularly any that may deal specifically with mitigating long term effects of dissociative anesthetics (dextromethorphan in this case).
Also wanted to say that I've been taking Ginko and it seems to do a little for me, and seems to make me remember my dreams more so.
I’m a grad student and lack excessive funds, but am not completely destitute. So perhaps you can take that into consideration when recommending a regimen. And maybe PM me some good outlets to buy from.

you might want to give aerobic exercise, like running, and galantamine a try

yea, I agree about the aerobic exercise. The reason I stopped running is due to a shot patellar tendon. Really all I need to do is find an elliptical machine or pool...and get off my lazy ass. But I still think I'm going to go with the Piracetam/Resveratrol/Creatine mix unless I hear a good reason not to. I already take a decent amount of microvitamins, which I will continue. And I used to take Creatine back when I lifted actively. The only thing is that I see LifeMirage recommends a very large dose of Piracetam.

I would definately start taking fish oil and a good multivitamin if you haven't already. I would also take a choline source with the piracetam to get the most benefits. There are other things that might help also. Look around and do some reading.

would buying lecithin from the store count a good source of choline?

No. I would suggest CDP-Choline or Alpha GPC choline.

The things mentioned by LM are better of course but lecithin should work and is much cheaper. I use DMAE myself.
