The rain is frozen diamonds
Collecting in my hair
I walk the barren white washed street
I do not know to where
The snow reflects my wearied feet
Numbs my heart ached sorrow
My prints begin to drag together
As today becomes tomorrow
The frost coats my outer body
Like the coat I dare not wear
Enveloped in its numbing warmth
I feel safe within its care
The coat has spread into my lungs
The wind cuts through my soul
Thor strikes his mighty hammer down
And winter takes its toll
My eyes create the diamonds now
For rain has turned to glass
I fold up in the frigid snow
And wait for life to pass
Collecting in my hair
I walk the barren white washed street
I do not know to where
The snow reflects my wearied feet
Numbs my heart ached sorrow
My prints begin to drag together
As today becomes tomorrow
The frost coats my outer body
Like the coat I dare not wear
Enveloped in its numbing warmth
I feel safe within its care
The coat has spread into my lungs
The wind cuts through my soul
Thor strikes his mighty hammer down
And winter takes its toll
My eyes create the diamonds now
For rain has turned to glass
I fold up in the frigid snow
And wait for life to pass
