A Long Slow Goodbye

Fair lady you catch me by surprise.
Red dress, I'm impressed.
Innocent eyes and cherry hips,
The smoke curls upon your quivering lips.
You deliver an enchanting glance,
One that makes me plead a chance.

Bounding up the stairs we go,
Heart imploding, row by row.
Then it starts and never ends,
Fair lady pleads for him to transcend.
All she wants is for him to tame,
Unfortunatley for this dame,
I never came.
