ok, maybe it's not the best choice of words for the title of this thread, but what I had in mind was a place where we could post material to help people who just arrived here to navigate about the forum better and to do special things (like posting pics and colored or moving text).

So, I'll start things off by explaining how to post centered pics:

In the following, replace < with [ and > with ] , and note that http://yourpicurl refers to the url where your pic is located:

<center><img>http://yourpicurl</img></center>

I, for one, am very ignorant when it comes to programming stuff.  Learning how to post images and whatnot is a very helpful, thus I agree that some sort of user-friendly help section would be quite valuable
