To a Wolf

Come to me my loving friend
Come right beside me, we'll light the night
To chase the tail of moon, it guides us
to a gentle pool where we can drink
clear waters, let the eternal flame burn kind
running free and wild
We'll always stay up a little longer to catch
every breeze of the moment

I look into two full moons
My blazing soul reflects
I'm enchanted by your beauty
An exquisite thrill to read the tale
defining the wonder found in your face
Cherishing you comes naturally
The life, the source of everything, the part who saves
A simple thing that makes us glad

Glancing into the day we find
We're blessed, filled with every dance of nature
of the universe... where we touch to gaze
at a richness of bliss every spark is
A world unfolding in a flush of a rose
In which we meet nose to nose
Nevermind how we can see this
My hearts been sun since you're in it
+Steven Curtis Lance
I will go with you, into the wolf-womb of the dark, into the heart of the night.

I love you,
