When winter flees as spring draws near
I am the Light that darkness fear
As summer come and flowers bloom
I free the souls who once were doomed
In crystal waves from land to land
In weaving wind from earth to sand
I come to those who wish to see
A silent prayer, a ‘blessed be’
I am the Light that darkness fear

A gentle breeze across your skin
So sure am I that love will win
The fullest moon with rays so pale
I live in story, myth and tale
A snowflake on a mountain’s top
A struggle that will never stop
I come to those who wish to see
A silent prayer, a ‘blessed be’
So sure am I that love will win

"I am the Light that darkness fear"

Beautiful write. I love the rhythmic cadence throughout. Welcome to the board. I'm already a fan.
