I would like to know if anyone here had tried D-Phenylalanine (Phenylethylamine precursor wich is said to helps maintain focus, concentration, mood, alertness and effortful attention) and if it worth it?

I would also like to know if Tianeptine (Stablon) will have a clear effect when taking it for the first time or it will have gradual effect and needs to be taken everyday? Can you use it only occasionnaly?

i'm not sure about D-Phenylalanine, but L-Phenylalanine is a part of aspartame found in diet soft drinks. I've never heard of people supplementing with D-Phenylalanine.

At high doses of 2-3 Grams i noticed a mild effect on the above mentioned areas but it did not seem to last very long.

WHat about Tianeptine?

Selegiline can be combined with DL-Phenylalanine to potentiates it's effects. Selegiline will help prevent the degradation of PEA.

I'm talking about Tianeptine (brand-name Stablon) a new anti-deprressant with Nootropic qualities.

Is there a big difference (in terms of effects) between D-Phenylalanine and PEA (PhenylEthylAmine) ?
