Full Version: Jupiter brain
Nothing else matters. I fully intend to become a computing structure on the order of the size of Jupiter. I do not want DNA, neurons, or anything natural. Fully artificial and engineered. Consciousness can be preserved through the transition.

There are several theories. How about something very concrete. We are a few years away from replacing a part of our brains (the hippocampus) with chips.
i'm sceptical of using chips or any hardware to enhance the brain. More biologically-inspired approaches are more likely to succeed, like wetware solutions.
