Is Inderal good for social anxiety? It blocks ur brain from having too much epinephrine... but some drugs enhance epinephrine (and norepinephrine) for stimulation purposes... would inderal make you non-stimulated?... what's the difference between norepinephrine and epinephrine?? thanks!

Not quite. It blocks the action of epinephrine on both beta1- and beta2-adrenergic receptors, thereby helping to prevent an Adrenaline surge.

Both are considered hormones and neurotransmitters (catecholamines). While they both play similar roles, epinephrine (also called adrenaline) which is made from norepinephrine by methylation has the greater role in the body as opposed to the brain. Norepinephrine (which is made when Dopamine under goes β- oxidation) helps regulate attention and impulsivity. Many ADD drugs focus on effecting Norepinephrine.
