Let us consider this my official B|M debut. May your critiques roll off my back. biggrin.gif

Tranquility captured
In the same place
Where one began the search
Thus the separation between
You, I, and the Divine
Sees a certain death
Without ever having been born
How then could I
Mock a "lesser" being
For chasing its own tail
Our own futility for doing the same
Is just as plain to see
Or could it be that
True meaning is granted
Not to any outcome but the process
Though deemed fruitless by those
That stand by with idle hands
But to those that persevere
Blessed may you be
The greatest sense of achievement
Lies in the ever present now
With the knowledge that the process
Is the only gift worth having.

g`day and welcome,

an interesting verse, true meaning to ones own life is most certainly in the now, but can one hope to find true meaning without drawing on the experiences of the past and the hopes and expectations of the future? i know when i was twenty my now, had a very different perspective than my now today, although you hint at this in the final two lines,

“With the knowledge that the process
Is the only gift worth having”.

the process being the experience of living.

excellent read very thought provoking, thank you, keep well and take care,

greg.
