interesting. I'm reading Connes' 1985 "Non-commutative Differential Geometry" book now.

....it's a bit outdated (20 years) but I'm sure relevant nonetheless.

....it is often better to approach a new subject by analyzing
specific examples rather than presenting the general theory.
Noncommutative geometry is a very rich field in rapid evolution,
full of interesting and yet unexploredlandscapes.
