What would happen if you traumatized a rat (by repeatedly electrocuting it or something), and then removed its amygdala?

How would it respond?

What would it's life be like?

What if you gave it an entirely new amydala? Like that of another rat or something...

This type of situation might give us insight into post-traumatic stress disorder.

Does anyone have an answer to these questions or any insight? I am really curious.

It depends on the location of the research lab. If this experiment were to take place in Vietnam, for example, the rat will most likely end-up being loaf-piched out someone's lower end of their GI track within a predictable time of between 24 and 48 hours.

So, you're saying it's impossible.
