Darkness
Slowly grasps my heart.
Every beat
Becomes a yearning for relief.

I want to cry
But I cannot...
I will not....
Because I cannot forget....
And I do not regret
The violence that exploded from my hands
And bled all over you.

I thought I had moved on
I believed that I had forgiven....
Your drunken laments
That pierced my life
And the abusive pain
That shattered my soul.

Curses
Race through my veins
Hatred bleeds from my eyes.
All I can do is stare at you...
Fists clenched in violence....
And the only words that come to mind...
Good-bye...
Good-bye...
Good-bye.

Very... um... emotive. It has some strong imagery there, but I do feel that the story needs to be built up a little bit more. It doesn't really seem to have a message, and it just feels a little out of touch with anything. Some good lines in there that catch the attention, but overall, I do think that it needs some more plot.
