LIFE JOURNEY

My boat is flimsy and drawn by the stream
And spirited wind inflates its sails
My soul is gleeful and vast are its wings
And it flies the space with no limits
And the joy it sings fills the sky and the sea
And no land is seen in the distance
The journey of life is an endless stream
Who cares about harbors or anchors !
The boat is flimsy and light and swift
And the spirit is riding its rudder
And cares it not if afar is a shore
For what matters is not destination
Hey Hey
This is not to criticize your poem, which is rather good, but would not the destination be important if it was salvation?

What do You mean by salvation ?
Hey Hey
Take any of these applied definitions:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvation

or, in a non-religious sense, the on-going feedback from one's life journey.

Sorry, I didn't really mean to start a discussion of this type of issue in this board, but we could take it to another board if you're interested.

Again, a nice poem, that makes one think.

Hello my friend and fellow poet Garuda...

I would very much prefer it if our poets would avoid posting their titles in ALL CAPS on the Poetry Board, please.

But thank you very much for sharing; indeed you make an interesting point about the journey itself being the destination, a point with which I can very much agree.

Respect and solidarity,
