...that's me in the back. It was taken last week on a white water rafting trip at Cache Creek in northern California. Will post more if anyone's interested.

What grade were the rapids Shawn?

up to level 3. Not that high, but the raft was small and many of the rocks and overhanging tree branches were big.

What a great photo! Looks like you had great fun. It's an exhilarating sport. I haven't done it for 30 years and your photo brought back memories. You and your friend seem to have wet your pants! (Hee, Hee). Yes, more please.

Good photo Shawn, and good to see that you sensibly wore long pants to keep your legs dry!!!!!

Ha! I didn't think anyone would notice the jeans. Yes, I wore them the first day, mainly to prevent sunburned legs, and it worked though I got sunburned on other exposed areas (and am still recovering even today). It was a two day rafting trip. I fell out in the beginning of the first day on one of the first rocks we hit, while trying to sabotage a friend on a different raft, but stayed in afterwards. My partner wasn't so lucky (he fell out three times and in bad areas).

I'm in the back in both pics. The bottom pic is from the second day (you can't see it, but I'm not wearing jeans in this pic)

....alrighty, here are my pics....the quality of image is not as good as yours Shawn, as this was back in the day before digital cams. These were taken either on the Kootenay river or the Kokannee River staddling the British Columbia / Alberta border in the heart of Banff National Park.

Corrr....that really was a steep slope you were fighting against in picture number 3 and even the spectators were wearing life-vests in pictures 2 and 5! Did the guy fishing in picture 10 really pull the tree down?
I'd put up my pictures, but they were before the days of film!
