God Save Me and Her Majesty
I love the kids at Starbucks but
Their coffee is too strong
Like creosote no matter what
Somehow it has the wrong
Effect on me: I prefer tea
Part of my British heritage
I serve myself at home for free
A kindness in an unkind age
And then... there is the awkward fact
I can no longer pay
Despite their kindness and their tact
Giving their tar to me
I had better have tea today
