Love's Wraith[u]

Red Cities built with walls of smiles
Beckoning fingers that lie and beguile
It’s all to late in the library of denial
The books have crumbled, dust in the aisle

You still wear the ring, and cry for the dead
You can’t pull in air, to cry him out of your head
Once you had love, now the snake’s skin is shed
And all you are left with is poison in the bed

Perfection is granted and moments stole by
Evil's awoken and hatred smiles wry
But the love that you plant, can’t wither and die
He’s still in there somewhere, in the blue of his eye.

Take the sword, hold your breath
Traitors run very fast
Wield your sword to bring death
And release him from past.
