Saw this movie just now. Not very impressed. In fact, I found the movie to be very disappointing. It could have been so much more. What a let down!
First off, all the eastern philosophy and spirituality stuff was old hat. In fact, such ideas of mind creating reality have been around for at least 3 millenia. So there's nothing new there.
Second off, the movie overemphasizes quantum theory ad nauseum. And the way the movie discusses quantum theory is laughable, kind of like the type of quantum theory book you'd expect to find in Barnes and Noble that's taylor-made for the layman and that presents quantum theory in such a childish way that it's no longer quantum theory but rather a dumbed-down caricature of it.
So that's what I walked away with, that the movie rehashes ancient ideas and tries to merge it with a caricature of quantum theory.
The animated body cells were somewhat amusing, but overall, I would definitely not want to watch this movie again. Once was more than enough.
But hey, if you're ignorant of quantum theory and eastern philosophy, then it may be an interesting movie for you. But if you know quantum theory, not by word of mouth, but actually know the details and mathematics, then you will likely find this movie, at the very least, a terrible bore to sit through and will find the movie's misrepresentation and dumbing-down of quantum theory to be objectionable.
