Hope

The rain came then went
Having laundered my town
The clouds are all spent
So the sun can pour down
Bright gold on the scene

The air is brilliant blue
The earth is washed clean
Old leaves and new buds too
With that urgent green
Early spring vibrancy

I am glad to be
Alive right now right here
As once-blind eyes see
This blooming of the year
Life returns to me

The blood flows in my veins
Like sap in a tree
After the labor pains
Of the birth of spring
As life itself explains:

Hope is everything

Hey Hey
What a laid back, nonchalant style, but stating the point so crisply as to stop one in tracks.

Thank you Hey Hey and kind Guest!

The poem is a true story; I just looked up and around and there it was.

Respect and solidarity,

+Stevie
