Hey Hey
if days

if days could be the same always
and time would pass as truth sublime
then seeing might redress for being
now that we know and will bestow

unfolding lives as thought arrives
beware anon or chance is gone
to creep, or secret, is to weep
as podium plate rhodium

still in denial, consider while
the coming tide of cosmic wide
imagination, contemplation
you in this space, left with no trace

all take thus heed as done is deed
for shall the days fuel certain blaze

My dear friend! Please forgive me for missing this one; how could I! I have just been so preoccupied that I didn't see it somehow, but I like this one very much. A very stylish sonnet, actually, I love its slippery shape and shimmering lines and internal rhymes. Refreshing, in a word.

I like that right-hand margin effect; it's strange how something like that can give such a fresh perspective on the page and the words which it bears, one doesn't expect to see it but is delighted by its subtle surprise.

Anyway, I like this very much, and thought I ought to tell you so, and to apologize for missing it at first.

Thanks for sharing this and so many fine things among us here, kind and wise friend and fellow poet.

Respect and solidarity, and love,

+Stevie
