In a brief perusal of the website, I found this mission statement and commentary:

"BrainMaps.org's mission is to organize the world's neuroanatomical information, making it universally accessible and useful.

Also to consider; BrainMaps.org is an online tool for actually doing neuroanatomical research."


I'm thinking about how ingenius and farsighted your group's decision was to open your research to the public, welcoming input and new ideas. Neuroscience is at the brink of a whole new frontier, for sure.
