FIREFLIES
-- In the dark night
There are sad souls flying

I stand up, recalling love
Recalling that longest day
That day, was as long as the color green
Yet all along
Never resembled the spring

Such a brilliance, like this moment's
Glitters, yet I no longer see clearly my
Lover. He's breathing in the dark night
Much like the deep-in-the-woods
Fireflies. I,
Lost sight of both eyes

How long, how long on earth has it been
And how beautiful
The fireflies
