OK before I get started here are my goals: I am coming off Lexapro 10mg that I took for 2 years. I have been weaning for 2.5 weeks. Started at 7.5mg and am now on day 4 of only 5mg. Plan to take another 30 days or so to get all the way off. I am on the meds for anxiety which was somewhat due to circumstances at the time which were stressful and I had bad panic attacks. Anyway - I am hoping to get a stack that will not interefere with the remaining meds in my system (no interactions) and will give me some energy (I'm feeling somewhat mentally drained at the moment) and sort of pep me up and prevent any anxiety from reapperaing through the withdrawal. So with that in mind, here's what I am thinking:

ALCAR
Lecithin
Theanine
Piracetam
Magnesium Citrate
r-ALA
Ashwagandha

So I am unsure what dosages to start with, what timing to use (all at once in the am or do some have to be spaced apart?), and importantly, any known adverse reactions w/ SSRIs?

Any help appreciated!

Jeff
I haven't had any negative reactions to using Wellbutrin (not an SSRI, I know) and most of those nootropics you mentioned.

I was on Zoloft for a week while using most of the supplements you mentioned and had no reactions.

You may want to include another choline source as well, such as choline bitartrate (I'm partial to this one), Alpha-GPC, or centrophenoxine. Choline Bit is the cheapest, and I haven't found any extra benefit in using the other two. YMMV.

Start with one at a time regarding the nootropics. I personally would start with ashwagandha, r-ALA, and a choline source first for a month. Then, begin to add another once a couple months or so. I keep theanine around all the time and use it as needed for acute anxiety, not necessarily on a daily basis (sometimes I do, some not), in doses ranging from 300mg to 1g. I think the ashwagandha would be a good addition now while your weaning off the Lexapro. I used to use 450mg of the 4.5% withanolides extract 3x daily.

You can find articles on all of these substances at bulknutrition.com. They will recommend dosages, timing, and have other useful info.

Great thanks for all your help. I will look into another choline source. I ordered the Ashwagandha already it is 4.5% like you mentioned. I will take your advice and add things in slowly so I know how each individual suppliment affects me.

Thanks again.
