They would catch her if her legs weren't made of stone
Only then would the trees betray her and leave her on her own

No sun, no light had the world gone insane?
Trying to catch up with yourself was like a crashed and wrecked train

Knowing was understanding when she'd be caught the trees would stand high.
High for her, but still high

She stopped and without an eye.

Looked at the door of death, it was the edge of the line

Falling down, she knew it was time.
No place in the world for one as gifted as her
To see the world for what it really was
