I'll get back to you on that later today, maximus. I need to think more about it and play around with the forum code.

Ok, tentatively, I have set the "Active Topics" to what it was like before the forum upgrade; namely, there are two "Active Topics" links, one called "Active Topics" and the other called "[all]". The "Active Topics" now shows active topics that have poetry-related posts filtered. The other link, "[all]", shows all active topics. Some may think this a bit unfair, but ... it would be relatively easy to set up different "Active Topics" links for different topics. For instance, it would be relatively easy to set up "Active Topics: Poetry", "Active Topics: Philosophy", and "Active Topics: All" links. In short, it is relatively easy to set up different "Active Topic" links to perform arbitrary filtering of topics. If anyone has suggestions, please let me hear them.

Thanks for re-implementing the filtering. Now that it seems that you have some time to do these things, how about fixing the "can't get beyond post number 200" bug? I don't play the acronym word game any more because it's just too much trouble.

Great! I look forward to it.
Looks like the multipage fix might have to wait until next weekend. I have a busy week coming up. Sorry about that.
